About Coach: I’ve been playing volleyball for 9 years, and coached for 2 years, loving every second of it! During my latest club season, my team and I were able to earn three medals (ranging from gold to bronze)! I have played as an outside, middle, and right side during my athletic career (middle being my favorite)! I assisted with coaching at multiple camps for my high school, middle school, and volleyball club. As well as helping to coach during regular-season club tournaments, I was able to coach multiple private lessons. I lived in northern Virginia my whole life, but took the chance to come down south for school! I am a student at Christopher Newport University, pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. When I’m not coaching, I love to spend time with my friends and travel to the closest beach to catch a sunset!
Why Do I Coach?: "I find coaching as a way to assist athletes in finding or growing their love for the sport. I believe a coach is there to bring any athlete to their fullest potential and guide them in a positive direction toward success! Volleyball quickly became more than just a hobby or game in gym class to me. It became something I could truly turn to when I needed time away from school or to relieve stress. It took many years to get to where I wanted to be, but it was so worth it, and so rewarding. I want to be able to show this side of volleyball to athletes and be a part of their journey as they continue!”
