Hometown: Grew up in Cincinnati (OH) area, went to college in Indiana, lived in CA, RI, and has lived in Virginia since 2017

About Coach Aubrey: Coach Aubrey brings over a decade of volleyball coaching experience across both school and club programs, working with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Coach Aubrey started playing volleyball in 2003 in middle school and played through college. She started coaching at age in 2009 with Team Indiana Volleyball (Indianapolis, IN). Her background includes serving as Recruiting Director at Coastal VA Volleyball Club (2021-22) and coaching nationally competitive teams with Coastal Hampton Roads (2018-19), Indy Juniors, IN (2012-13), and The Academy Volleyball Club, IN (2010-12). She has also led school programs as Varsity Coach at Norfolk Collegiate (2017-18) and JV Head Coach at Salinas High School, CA (2015). Aubrey currently works full time as a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Hampton and owns her own vocational counseling practice. Her shining light is her daughter, Charlotte who is 2 years old.

Why Do I Coach: “I love working with teenage girls and helping them not only grow into the best athletes they can be, but also help develop them into the best version of themselves. Nothing makes me happier than running into an athlete in person or on social media when they are an adult and hear how well they are doing.”
