About Coach Cana: With over a decade of volleyball experience, Coach Cana has built a strong reputation as a dedicated and competitive athlete. She has earned multiple national bids and traveled extensively across the country to compete in high-level tournaments. As a libero, she played Division II volleyball at UVA Wise for two years, bringing energy, leadership, and defensive grit to the court. At UVA Wise she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and will be pursuing her Master's of Science degree in Sport and Entertainment Management and Administration in the fall online at Cleveland State University. Although her collegiate career was shortened due to injury, her deep passion for volleyball remains a driving force in her life. She is currently the Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity coach for Peninsula Catholic High School’s Girl’s Volleyball Team.
Why do I Coach? “I coach because I love volleyball and the opportunities it has given me. I also love to see the impact that I can make on players by giving them the knowledge that I have picked up on in the last 11 years.”
